Terms of Service

By purchasing, downloading, or using cmdHalo, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the software.

Upon purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use cmdHalo on your personal Mac computers. This license covers:

• Installation on up to 2 personal Mac computers you own
• All updates within the current major version (v2.x)
• Access to community-contributed shortcut databases

You may not:

• Redistribute, sublicense, or resell cmdHalo
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
• Remove or modify any copyright notices
• Use the software for any unlawful purpose
• Share your license key with others

cmdHalo requires macOS Accessibility permission to function. By granting this permission, you acknowledge that:

• The app reads application menu structures to extract keyboard shortcuts
• No keystrokes, personal data, or screen content is recorded or transmitted
• You can revoke this permission at any time through System Settings

cmdHalo is sold as a one-time purchase through Gumroad. Payment processing is handled entirely by Gumroad under their terms of service.

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with cmdHalo, contact us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.

Your license includes all updates within the major version you purchased (e.g., v2.0 through v2.x). Future major versions (v3.0+) may require a separate purchase or upgrade fee at a discounted rate.

cmdHalo is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. While we strive for reliability and accuracy, we cannot guarantee that:

• All keyboard shortcuts for every application will be detected
• The software will be compatible with all future macOS versions
• The software will be free of bugs or interruptions

To the maximum extent permitted by law, cmdHalo and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the software. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the software.

Your license remains valid indefinitely as long as you comply with these terms. We may terminate your license if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of cmdHalo and delete all copies.

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of cmdHaloafter changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
